From Sunday, 4 July 2010 adult and child cash fares on the Metro are revised.
The adult single cash fare for short journeys will increase to £1,80 (previously £1.70) and for medium length journeys the adult single fare will now be £2.50 (previously £2.40). The adult single fare for long journeys becomes £3.20 (previously £3.00). Child single fares are half the adult fare.
Return fares and off-peak return fares are also revised with the adult day return for short journeys costing £2.80 (previously £2.50), an adult day return for medium length journeys will cost £3.80 (previously £3.50) and an adult day return for long journeys costing £4.80 (previously £4.50).
Adult off-peak (cheap day) returns will cost £2.40 (previously £2.00), £3.40 (previously £3.00) and £4.20 (previously £4.20) for short medium and long trips respectively. Child return fares are half the adult fare.
Travel Card prices are also revised from 4 July 2010, as follows:
