From Saturday, 2 January 2010 adult and Child single cash fares on the Metro are revised.

The adult single cash fare for short journeys will increase to £1,70 (previously £1.50) and for medium length journeys the adult single fare will now be £2.40 (previously £2.20). The adult single fare for long journeys becomes £3.00 (previously £2.70). Child single fares are half the adult fare.

Return fares, off-peak return fares and Metro Daytripper fares are unchanged however Day Metro/Bus tickets, giving a full days unlimited travel on Metro and most bus services in the West Midlands county, will increase to £5.00 for adults and £3.30 for children (5-15).
